Provenance | Technical Mastery | Industry Intelligence
TeaX Global Ltd is an integrated African tea trading house and advisory firm. We unite direct-from-garden origin sourcing with ground-level market intelligence to build transparent, resilient supply chains for international buyers.
Who We Are
Kenya is the undisputed powerhouse of global black tea exports, yet for generations, the true depth of its highland terroir, rare varietals, and artisan craftsmanship has remained concealed behind multi-tier auctions and commoditized blending channels.
TeaX Global Ltd was founded to change this paradigm. Headquartered in Kenya with operational footholds spanning primary growing zones and the port city of Mombasa, we provide global brands, tea packers, and specialty distributors with direct access to unblended provenance.
Through our dual-brand ecosystem, which pairs commercial export operations under TeaX Global with strategic industry research under Global Tea Insights (GTI), we deliver not just metric tons of premium leaf, but complete supply chain security, batch traceability, and actionable market intelligence.
To connect ethically produced, high-character African teas to discerning global markets through direct, transparent supply chains, while equipping industry stakeholders with the data and operational expertise required to thrive.
To establish TeaX Global as Africa’s most trusted multi-origin tea trading powerhouse, recognized worldwide for uncompromised traceability, specialty leaf innovation, and thought leadership through Global Tea Insights.
What We Stand For
Five principles guide every partnership, every batch and every piece of advice we give.
Honest pricing, clear contracts and long-term partnerships with the producers and buyers we work with.
Every bag and container we ship is directly linked to documented gardens, harvest dates and processing records.
Over a decade of hands-on experience in tea production, grading, factory operations and export compliance guides every decision.
Ethical sourcing and fair returns for growers, with responsible practices that protect Kenya's highlands for the next generation.
Direct relationships with Kenyan factories and buyers across Asia, the EU and the Middle East connect great tea to the right markets.
Responsible by Design
Direct partnerships, pure highland terroir, and responsible export practices.
We bypass speculative brokers with direct-to-factory agreements across Kenya’s smallholder networks. This ensures timely, higher farm-gate payouts that support local farming communities.
Cultivated at 1,800m–2,500m along the Great Rift Valley, cool mountain air suppresses pests naturally. Our teas thrive without heavy chemical pesticides.
Our partner gardens enforce strict riparian buffer zones along mountain streams to stop soil erosion. Protecting surrounding indigenous forests preserves the rainfall catchments that sustain Kenya’s tea microclimate.
Partner factories utilize renewable biomass boilers and sustainable timber woodlots for leaf withering and drying. For private label clients, we supply 100% commercially compostable PLA pyramid mesh.
When we established TeaX Global, our goal was simple: eliminate the friction, opacity, and middleman markups that have long characterized the international tea trade.
Kenya grows some of the cleanest, highest-altitude tea on earth. Yet too many international brands struggle with inconsistent lots, broker delays, and zero origin traceability.
By combining physical origin sourcing with the analytical power of Global Tea Insights (GTI), we give you a direct, transparent pipeline to Kenya’s best gardens. We ensure every container loaded at the Port of Mombasa meets strict international food safety standards, honors the growers behind the crop, and delivers exact cup character season after season.
We look forward to working with your brand.

Good to Know
Straight answers for importers, brands and industry partners.
Traditional brokers primarily facilitate anonymous, multi-broker auction transactions that add cost layers and obscure traceability. TeaX Global operates on a direct-trade model, securing forward contracts with verified highland factories and smallholder cooperatives. Every consignment is traceable to specific factory batches and harvest dates, backed by actionable market analysis from our advisory arm, Global Tea Insights (GTI).
Our partner gardens are situated at elevations between 1,800m and 2,500m across Kenya’s primary growing zones, including Kericho, Nandi Hills, and Mount Kenya (Kirinyaga, Nyeri). The combination of rich volcanic soils, year-round equatorial sunshine, and cool mountain air slows leaf growth, concentrating natural bioactives, briskness, and aroma while naturally suppressing insect pests without heavy chemical intervention.
Global Tea Insights (GTI) is our integrated knowledge and advisory vertical. While TeaX Global manages physical leaf sourcing and export logistics, GTI equips buyers, packers, and producers with actionable data. This includes weekly Mombasa auction price analysis, factory process audits, export regulatory updates, and independent supplier due diligence.
We accommodate both specialty micro-lots and large-scale commercial trade:
Specialty & Artisan Teas (Purple, White, Orthodox): Starting from 25 kg to 50 kg for trial orders.
Commercial CTC Black Tea: Scalable from 1 metric ton spot orders up to full 20ft (12–14 MT) and 40ft HC (24–28 MT) container loads.
Private Label Packaging: Starting from 500 units depending on packaging format.
Every export batch undergoes comprehensive pre-shipment laboratory screening to ensure complete compliance with strict EU, US FDA, and destination-market Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs). All consignments ship with full documentation, including Phytosanitary Certificates issued by KEPHIS, Certificates of Analysis (moisture, purity, heavy metals), Certificates of Origin, and optional third-party inspection reports (SGS or Bureau Veritas).
